Fellow Republican, When you go to the polls for the April 24 Primary Election, you will see no one has filed for the Republican nomination for State Representative in the 46th District. As local Republican elected officials (including Greg DeLuca, Jesse’s opponent in the 2010 Election), we are writing in support of our current State Representative, Jesse White, and ask that you consider writing Jesse in for the Republican nomination for 2012. Many of us have worked with Jesse White on different issues, but his principled position on protecting our communities when it comes to Marcellus Shale development is the main reason we are standing behind Jesse now. As an attorney and a former township supervisor, he understands the need for a reasonable and responsible approach, which balances the economic benefits of domestic energy with an unwavering belief in smaller, local government. Simply put, Jesse White gets it, and he’s not afraid to stand up for what he believes in on such an important issue. Jesse White has demonstrated the maturity and leadership we need during these critical times, putting partisanship aside to truly represent the interests of his constituents. Jesse has also led the fight to prevent a costly property tax reassessment, voted to reduce the size of the State Legislature, and earned an “A” rating from the National Rifle Association. With so much at stake, we believe it important to give Jesse White our full-throated support for the 2012 election, and felt it equally important to let our fellow Republicans know that Jesse White is the right person to keep working for us. When you go to vote, there will not be anyone listed under “Representative in the General Assembly” on your ballot. We are asking you to press “Write-in”, and then type “Jesse White”.
