AADHAR 2014-15

On Friday, the 14th November 2014, the Inaugural Programme of the Aadhar was conducted.

The programme started with the Ganesh Vandana, followed by the floral welcome of the

dignitaries; Chief Guest Dr. S. M. Seth, Chairman, PF & Chairperson, PU; Dr Om Prakash Sharma,

Director, PCE; Mrs. Renu Singhi, Advisor (PAA), PF; Dr. Rekha Nair, Dean I Year, PGC. Post the

floral welcome of the dignitaries, Dr. Om Prakash Sharma introduced to the participants the

genesis and the importance of the Technical Festival of the PGC called “Aadhar”. A

Documentary pertaining to the growth story of Aadhar till today was shown during the

programme. It was prepared by the students of the Zircon Club, PCE. Further the Appreciation

of the senior students, who acted as the Coordinators of the Aadhar (Zircon Club Members),

was made by Dr. Om Prakash Sharma. The Words of Blessings by Dr. S. M. Seth were given

away to the students and participants. There after the Tree Plantation carried out by Robot

prepared by the Students of Zircon Club. The release of the Aadhar Booklet was also done by

the Chairman Sir; the Vote of Thanks was rendered by Mr. Rakesh Mathur. Eventually, The

Poornima Gaan sung by the 1st Year Students, PCE. The inauguration of the Project Competition

by Dr S M Seth was then conducted, followed by the exhibition visit. The entire event was

anchored by Aditi Vyas and Coordinated by Mrs Himanshu Rathore and Ms Garima Angira.

The total of around 70 projects on Robotics was displayed in the Campus of the PCE and around

50 hardware projects of electrical and mechanical in the campus of the PGI.

The Aadhar thus groomed with the great enthusiasm and valor by the entire PGC.
