APAQG Leadership Meeting

1. Purpose and Situation:IAQG has many subjects to be discussed by sub-teams．APAQG could not contribute to these IAQG activities sufficiently，because the focal person assigned for each sub-teams do not always attend IAQG meeting continuously except some specific items such as 9100 writing team and OPMT team etc.Americas and Europe sectors are expecting APAQG member to providemore resources for IAQG activities.

2. Conclusion:①It is difficult to increase resources shortly.②But APAQG try to supply more resources step by step.③APAQG Member companies shall nominate and provide resource

to each working group.

APAQG-RMC Meeting

1.APAQG-RMC preparation team meeting is held to discuss the development of China registration system．

2.APAQG-RMC Preparation Team agreed that Team activity is suspended until China inform to re-start the activity due to Chinese Aerospace industries reformation.

3.APAQG-RMC Preparation Team has some risks under current uncertain situation even if the current CRMC proceed the development.

REQUIREMENTS Asia-Pacific sector activities

1. For 9100 Ballot Draft review, the APAQG SDR (Mr. Kawamoto, MHI) had collected the comments and 21 comments were submitted through APAQG Sector Standardization Focal Point (SJAC) to IAQG SML.

JAQG Standardization team activities1. Team membership

- Draft Japanese standards (JIS or SJAC) in technically harmonized with IAQG standards

- Assign and dispatch a member to IAQG meeting- Support for coordination with regulatory authority etc.Note: JRMC members support standardization relating to certification,

such as 9104 series.

JAQG Standardization team activities3. 2008 – 2009 main activities

- Revise JIS Q 9100 to incorporate IAQG 9100:2008 changes

- Revise SJAC 9101 to incorporateIAQG 9101:2009 changes

- Prepare a Japanese version of 9100 deployment support material (Overview, guidance material…)

- Review and comment on new/revised IAQG standards, such as 9115 (software QMS), 9136 (SCMH)

- Draft Japanese standards for which has not been issued in Japanese

JAQG Standardization team activities4. Status of JIS Q 9100 revision activities

- JIS Q 9100 revised standard drafting committee and its Working Group (WG) has been set up in May.

JIS Q 9100 WG includes JAQG Standardization team , METI (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) and JSA (Japanese Standards Association) as the authorities concerned. (JIS Q 9100WG Leader: Mr. Kawamoto)

- The 1st WG meeting was held in May, and continually held every month (sometimes, every week for JAQG members!)

- The 1st draft of JIS Q 9100 revision, which is based on IAQG 9100:2008 ballot draft and ISO/FDIS 9001:2008, was submitted to JSA via METI in Sept. 22nd for JSA pre-check committee.

- Publication of JIS Q 9100 revision is planned in May, 2009.

ＪＡＱＧ Space Forum 6th meeting was held in Aug.28,2008.

Main Activities１．Investigate the 9100 flow down to space supplier by contract・Most of prime companies demands the JIS Q 9100 by the contract.・JAQG Space Forum will formally investigate the state of each company.

２．JAQG Space Forum surveyed the application situation to space activities of second level standards. (FAI, Key Characteristics, SCMH)・Most of prime companies demands their own FAI and Key

Characteristics systems. ・Continue the study of SCMH effectiveness use.

Main Activities：1. Nadcap Audit Criteria Checklists translated to Japanese, and posted on JAQG Web. Because supplier shall completely understand applicable AC checklist, AC checklist in Japanese is very valuable to understand.

2. Supporting for “Nadcap Meeting Yokohama” (10/6-10/9).

3. Dispatch WG member to “PRI Board of Director”.
