About  Reno  CyberKnife  •  Reno  CyberKnife  was  established  in  2008  as  part  of  Saint  Mary’s  Cancer  Center,  naNonally  accredited  by  the  American  College  of  Surgeons  Commission  on  Cancer  as  well  as  the  NaNonal  AccreditaNon  Program  for  Breast  Cancer.    

 •  As  part  of  Saint  Mary’s  Brain  Tumor  Center,  formed  through  a  partnership  with  Sierra  Neurosurgery,  the  center  performs  all  radiosurgery  for  Brain  Tumor  Center  paNents.  

 •  Saint  Mary’s  and  Reno  CyberKnife  implemented  a  lung  nodule  tumor  board  to  evaluate  each  paNent’s  diagnosNc  images  and  medical  history  to  provide  guidance  on  the  best  course  of  treatment  for  their  individual  diagnosis.    

•  The  American  Society  for  RadiaNon  Oncology  endorses  stereotacNc  body  radiaNon  therapy  as  a  first  line  treatment  opNon  for  prostate  cancer.  Reno  CyberKnife  is  the  only  center  in  Northern  Nevada  offering  this  type  of  treatment  with  CyberKnife®  technology.
