Welcome to Calvary! We are so excited that you chose
Calvary as your place of worship. Please
note that our Sunday schedule is listed
on the back cover of the bulletin.
You are important to us! Please fill
out the Connection Card in the bulletin
to help us get to know you. On the card
you may request information about
ministries, share a prayer request or
register for a class or event. Place your
card in the offering plate as it is passed
or take it to the book table. Please note
that our offering is for our members,
and we do not expect you to give.
Thank you for being our guest
today. We hope you feel right at home!
Don’t expect to find stuffy people here;
instead, love and acceptance. In our
services, we blend both traditional and
contemporary elements to go along
with relevant, practical messages
designed to help you apply God’s Word
to your everyday life.
Your kids and teens will find
exciting, spiritually stimulating
programs that will help them mature in
their relationship with God as well.
Please introduce yourself to one of
the pastors after the service and be sure
to stop by the Information Center in the
foyer for additional information.

Where our BELIEVE Journey has taken us! “The first five key beliefs we have read so far are mostly vertical in na-ture—they deal with our relationships with God. The God of the Bible is the one true God who is involved in and cares about our daily lives. This God has provided the way for us to come into a relationship with him through faith in Jesus Christ. God revealed this to us along with a road map (the Bible) for our lives. This special book is from God and therefore has the right to command our beliefs and actions. We who embrace these beliefs and receive Jesus as our Savior from sin are given a new identity. From that moment on we can find our significance not in our performance but in our position as children of God.
The final set of five beliefs is more horizontal in nature—they deal with our relationship with others. Out of our relationship with God we engage our world in a purposeful and fruitful way. How will God accomplish the plan for humanity he has laid out in the Bible? God has chosen to use two communities he created—the ancient nation of Israel and the church—to accomplish his purposes on earth. If you are a Christian, you are a part of this community.” (BELIEVE, p. 93)
