About Home for Good Dog RescueHome for Good Dog Rescue is a volunteer-based 501 (c)(3) non-profi t animal rescue in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. Our mission is to rescue homeless dogs from high-kill shelters, nurture them in our network of foster families and adopt them into their loving homes for good. We are funded by private dona ons from people who share our vision to save innocent homeless dogs and give them a second chance at life.

The Shackamaxon Country ClubOpened in 1916, Shackamaxon features a classic A.W. Tillinghast-designed course that boasts the architect’s famous island green. Of all the holes that Tillinghast designed at Shackamaxon none received more notoriety than the ninth, one of the first island greens in the United Stated. The famous ninth green has been written about is several golf design books, newspaper articles and even used in advertisements. It was voted one of the most challenging holes in the metropolitan area.
