The evening was sensational. I congratulate all year 6 students on their fantastic achievements. I am extremely proud of all year 6 students. All students will enjoy class parties before moving into their 2018 grades for a brief session with their new teacher. Term 4 officially ends at 1.30 pm on Friday, 22nd December. Parents are asked to be punctual collecting their children. School Concert: Mondays concert was a wonderful success. I was a little worried about the weather but ultimately the conditions were quite good. I was thrilled with each classesperformance on stage. Sincere thanks to Karen Willcock for doing a magnificent job as concert choreographer—again. The 2018 Student Leaders were announced on the night. On behalf of all at Red Cliffs Primary I congratulate the following students: School Captains - Cheyenne Riordan and Ben Reid; Junior School Council President - Hannah Warburton; House Captains—Lauren Clifford, Jonty Staley, Ajah Lanigan, Xander Morrison, Lucy Sharp, Harvey Jopling, Eva Maddigan and Ethan Pateman. The Rotary Club Encouragement Award winners were also announced. Congratulations to Adam Collins and Cheyanne Riordan. Merry Christmas: As usual at this time of year I take this opportunity to thank the wonderful staff at Red Cliffs Primary for their hard work, enthusiasm, professionalism and dedication throughout the year. I again sincerely thank all School Council and ParentsClub members for their fantastic commitment and dedication to the school. Thanks also to all parents who have helped in any way this year. Merry Christmas everyone! Have a fantastic, safe and enjoyable holiday. I will see you all in 2018. Principal’s Report: Year 6 Graduation: 22 grade 6 students, parents and staff attended the 2017 Grade 6 Graduation ceremony last night. The evening was sensational. I congratulate all year 6 students on their fantastic achievements. I am extremely proud of all year 6 students.

Parent Club News: A big thank you to all who supported our Christmas Hamper raffle. In the end we were able to provide nine prizes. We expect to make more than $450 profit. The winners of the raffle were announced at Monday’s school concert. Congratulations to our winners!

Aussie of the Month: Congratulations to Mia Sos - Red Cliffs Primary School’s final Aussie of the Month for 2017. Mia is a fantastic helper to teachers and other students. She supports others without being asked. Mia is a great role model for other students.
