behind it.

Roller doors open automatically, and

biofilter extraction doubles in power to

create a negative pressure inside the

shed, drawing outside air into the shed.

Food waste is emptied

into the import bunker.

Food waste is

transferred into the

de-packaging unit via

a combination of

walking floors and

augers to obtain a

clean feedstock.

Grass/maize is either

unloaded in the

reception hall for

immediate use,

otherwise it is emptied

into a clamp in the feed

store.

Solid crops are

mixed with slurries to

obtain a feedstock of

the correct

consistency.

Slurries are

unloaded directly

into the sealed

underground slurry

tank via a filling

cone.

All the different feedstocks are

piped into the food buffer tank.

Here they are blended together to

obtain the perfect nutritional

composition required by the micro-

organisms to breakdown the

organic material and create

biogas.
