RC Holy Spirit turns over heavy-duty copying machine to satisfy long-
standing need of Dona Juana Elementary School
Through the courtesy of Mr Karl Byun of Bisco Solution Copy Trade, RC Holy Spirit was able to donate one (1) unit of a Samsung S13-91 copying machine to its adopted school, Dona Juana Elementary School (DJES) on March 20, 2014. Mr Byun is a friend of President Dr Bong who is very sup-
lution is a direct importer of copiers from Korea. The donated machine is a monochrome laser multi-function
copier with fax/scan capability.
The turn-over was facilitated by IPP Marcia Salvador. Receiving the machine with excite-ment and gratitude were DJES Principal IV, Dr Emely M Pelobello and DJES Property Custo-dian, Miss Leticia Diaz. The school used to have a copying machine that had outlived its usefulness and had to be condemned. The arrival of the Samsung machine will be a great help in the timely reproduction of academic materials and administrative reports.

15 indigent patients in St Benedict Parish receive Oriental medical consultation and relief
On March 9, 2014, the second oriental medical mission of
the year in St Benedict Parish area was conducted by Pres
Dr Bong and youth volunteers from the Sion Oriental Medical
Mission Center at the multi-purpose hall of St Benedict. Fif-
teen (15) patients were given free medical consultations for
various ailments and were given herbal medicines and vita-
mins.
Two patients were administered acupuncture to relieve body
pains.
Assistance was again provided by the Salamat sa Biyaya
Foundation who had referred all of the patients from poor
neighbourhoods in the St Benedict Parish area. Also pre-
sent during the mission were Rtn Angel Castro who took BP
measurements and Rotaractor Michelle Mae Estenzo who
served as interpreter to Dr Bong and the patients. Ms Beng
Alberto of the foundation assisted in the reception and regis-
tration of the patients.
During the Araw ng Parangal of the Special Education Department of Dona Juana Elementary School on March 21, 2014, RC Holy Spirit was awarded a Certifi-cate of Recognition for its invaluable support to the SPED activities, projects and programs for School Year 2013-2014. The certificate was received by IPP Marcia Salvador who was also invited to give a message to the SPED pupils, their parents and teachers. It was a day to give recognition to all the SPED pupils for their vari-ous achievements during the school year, to parents
grams, and to all the five (5) teachers for their dedica-tion and commitment to the educational and personal needs of the pupils. From left: SPED Department In-charge Mrs Gloria Tatad, School Principal Dr Emely Pelobello, IPP Marcia, and SPED Coordinator Mrs Rhoda Padya-os.
