CORPORATE OVERVIEW •Rave was founded in 1988 and has successfully provided innovative computer hardware solutions in the commercial and defense markets for over 25 years •Headquartered in Sterling Heights, Michigan, Rave has diversified solutions meeting project requirements related to Modeling, Simulation, and Visualization in multiple locations through out the United States Rave’s 35,000 sq. ft. facility houses teams of technicians and product development engineers plus ample warehouse and testing space, enabling a unified approach to project management and customer care. •Experience, Expertise, Execution. THE RAVE DIFFERENCE Reduction in cost with a premium solution: The Challenge: A local Engineering company requested quote on Dell system with upgraded graphics card ($800 per system increase). Solution: Rave technology consultants configured a system based on client application and determined the software was processor intensive. Rave kept the original graphics card, upgraded to a faster processor and switched to SSD’s for faster boot ups. Result: Improved system cost was $300 each. Rendering times were reduced on some images from 2 hours to 20 minutes. Our customer was very pleased with the Rave Solution which not only saved them money but also gave them a competitive edge. THE RAVE DIFFERENCE Application specific hardware solutions: The Challenge: Robotics company had a customer requiring cycle times cut from 13 seconds down to one. This would require hundreds of hours of programing and drive down profit margins. Solution: Rave looked at their specific vision robotics application, performed some benchmark testing and provided an optimal solution. Result: System provided cut the cycle times down to a fraction-of-a-second. The only time involvement from the customer was testing, which was done in a few hours.
