General Policies

Payments

Payments must be made to:

Beqa Lagoon Support Services; 2900 Meade Ave Set 5, Las Vegas, NV 89102, USA; Chase Bank; SWIFT CHASUS33; Account # 865313753, We accept Visa, Master & AMEX cards.

A payment of US$150.00 per person is required upon booking to confirm the room reservation.

Payment in full is required 60 days prior to arrival; however, payment in full will be due at the time of booking confirmation if booking is made less than 60 days prior to arrival.

For groups of 10 people or more, a US$150.00 deposit is required no later than 7 days after booking confirmation through Beqa Lagoon Resort. However, if booking is made less than 21 days prior to arrival the full payment will be due at the time of booking confirmation.

Cancellation Policy

A penalty of US$150.00 of the booking value will be charged if written cancellation is received by Beqa Lagoon Resort at least 61 days prior to arrival.

A cancellation fee equal to 100% of the booking value will be assessed for cancellations received less than 60 days or less prior to scheduled arrival.

Taxes and Service Charges

All rates include local taxes. Local taxes = 15% VAT and 5% STT. All taxes are paid on Net rates.

Diving Packages

Diving Packages are not transferrable or refundable. All dives include boat, 80 cuft/12 liter tank(s), boat operator, guide, weights, weight belt, towel, beverages, snack, emergency kit, emergency oxygen, life vest and Equipment Valet Service.

Room availability

One night is defined as the time from 10:30 AM of a calendar day to 08:30 AM the following next calendar day.

Rates

All package rates, meal, dive and activity rates are per person and night/activity/meal/day. All Room ONLY Rates are per room and night. Rates are in US Dollar = US$ and Fijian Dollar FJ$. At the time of creation of this price list 1 US$ = about 2 FJ$. Rates may be subject to change. Vacation Package Rates

All vacation package rates include 15% VAT and 5% STT Taxes, all transfers, daily breakfast buffet, lunch, 3 course dinner, unlimited house reef diving, stated amount of double tank dives, afternoon activities, unlimited tea/iced tea, unlimited hot coffee, kayaks, paddle boards, snorkeling & volleyball.

Dive Days & Additional Dives

A Dive Day (DD) is defined as two consecutive dives from the boat – it includes two 12 liter/80 cubic feet scuba tanks filled with air, guide, weights, weight belt, towel, water, juice & snack.

Locally booked double tank dives are US$100.00 per dive day (=DD) and person. Night Dives and Third Tank Dives US$ 50.00 per dive and person. Pre-booked dive packages are nor transferrable neither refundable.

Beqa Lagoon Shark Dive at “Cathedral”, our exclusive site for tiger, lemon & bull sharks - US$150.00 per double tank dive.

Wi-Fi Internet

Wi-Fi is available for 24 hours at a charge of US$ 10.00 and for a period of 1 week (7 days = 168 hours) US$ 50.00.

Children

Because our uniqueness and as a courtesy to those guests not traveling with children, we have adopted the following policy. We suggest our resort for children 2-yrs and older. We do have child sitting available for US$6.00 per hour. We do not have scheduled kids club activities, but if your children enjoying wading beachfront, collecting shells, hiking, kayaking and snorkeling, they will have a variety of activities to choose from. As a courtesy to adult dinner hour at 7pm, children's dinner hours are between 5 pm and 6 pm. Our resort does have a few baby cots and highchairs available upon request.

Flight Information - Air Add-ons Available

Non-stop flights from LAX to Fiji via Fiji Airways available through our US reservation office. Pricing may vary based on availability and/or special promotions.

Tickets must be purchased within 21 days of booking except for groups of 10 or more passengers. Add-ons may be available from other cities to LAX - please inquire at time of reservation.

Boat Transfers

Our boat departs Pacific Harbour to Beqa island daily at 10:30 am and 4:30 pm. Boat departs Beqa Island to Pacific Harbour daily at 08:30 am and 2:30 pm. All boat transfers need to be requested and confirmed by our guests prior to arrival. Transfer time between Pacific Harbor & Beqa Lagoon Resort about 45 minutes.

Additional boat transfers for “non standard time” (see above) are available for a flat surcharge of US$ 150 USD per boat transfer.

It takes two to Be My Honey! Relax at the LALI SPA by booking your ‘Be My Honey’. You will both receive Honey & Milk Raw Sugar rub to deep cleanse and remove dry, dead skin cells prior to a full body massage with exotic massage oil or luxurious body butter to melt your senses.

Island Dream

This journey starts with a warm milk bath foot soak to soften and refresh the feet, then buff away rough skin with the sugar rub. Guests can then relax on the treatment bed where the application of the raw sugar rub is applied to the back followed by Lomilomi massage. A foot mask using body butter is applied and feet are wrapped. Face is cleansed and facial massage is then performed. The treatment concludes with a conditioning hair and scalp ritual.

Frigate Passage, The Fiji Pipeline, is located about 30 minutes by boat from the resort. The Fijian Pipeline is one of the strongest pipelines in the world. This is a powerful, left reef break. Baggage hold at Nadi airport

This may be another option for you on your last day layover, if you do not wish to book a hotel day room. Cost is minimal.

Beverages

Beqa offers a range of fruit juices, bottled water, local beer, wines, diet and regular sodas. Apart of a very good offer of Cocktails the resort offers Whiskey connoisseurs a whiskey menu with 27 different choices. For wine lovers the resort offers a wine card with assorted white and red wines from Australia, New Zealand, Italy, Chile & USA.

Beers from FJ$ 8.50; House Wine FJ$ 9.50; Bottled wine from FJ$ 55.00; Whiskeys from FJ$11.00.

Dining

Packages include 3 gourmet meals daily. Dining is family style in our open-air beachfront Bure Kalou. Private tables may also be arranged. Each day you will have a different menu of options to choose from including wonderful vegetarian selections. If you have any special dietary requirements, please advise upon reservations. Meals include coffee and tea; Juice and milk - only with breakfast. Other beverages are available for purchase.

Drinking water

Our water is pure spring water from surrounding mountains and is safe to drink. Bottled water is also available for purchase at the main bar and mini-bars.

Fiji Airports

Flights from LAX to Fiji are offered via Fiji Airways. The International carrier departs 3 to 4 times per week non-stop 10 hour flight from LAX to Nadi in both directions. Due to crossing the International dateline on the southbound flight and you will lose a day.

Flights from Europe and Asia are best done by Korean Airlines via Seoul or Fiji Airways via Hong Kong. Flight time is about 10 - 11 hours to Nadi.

Suva airport located 30 minutes flight from Nadi and is about 1:30 hour drive from our Pacific Harbor pier.

Getting Here

Most of our packages include both ground and boat transportation. Ground transfer by our bus or taxi is approximately 2 ½ hours from Nadi Airport to our boat launch in Pacific Harbor. From Suva

Airport to Pacific Harbor is approximately 1 ½ hours. The Boat crossing from Pacific Harbor to Beqa is approximately 45minutes.

Hotel day rooms in Nadi

Checkout at Beqa is 8:30 am. Most of the flight departures from Nadi do not leave until late evening. You will be back up in the Nadi area around 12 pm that last day. We suggest securing a hotel day room at one of the airport hotels. Cost is approximately $65USD (1-4pax). We are more than happy to assist with arranging a day room for you. Please inquire with our reservations department.

Mosquitos

We do get a few at sunrise and dusk, however, the resort is sprayed regularly. We also offer tropical strength insect spray available in the restaurant/reception bure for our guests to use.

Power Supply

All electrical power is 240 volts and the socket is Australian style with 3 prongs. You will need an adaptor and may need a converter to operate 110 or 120 volt appliances. Please check - most modern devices have prints that state “use for 110 V - 250 V”. We do however offer a 110 volt panel and USB chargers in the main office.

Required Documents

USA and Canadian & European Union travelers must have a passport that is valid at least 6 months after their return travel date. A visa is not required.

Smoking

Is allowed around the resort with consideration to other non smokers. We request that you refrain from smoking in the main dining and lounge area please.

Swimming pool

Enjoy lounging around our Luxurious fresh water swimming pool. Towels are offered at the pool.

Telephone service

Individual bures do not have telephones. If you wish to place or receive a phone call, you may use the office phone for a minimal fee. Most cell phones work in Fiji. Check with your service provider.

Tipping

Individual tipping is not customary in Fiji. Staff members do not expect to be tipped at any time. If you have enjoyed your stay and the service you have received, you may show your appreciation by making a contribution to the employee Christmas Fund when you depart the resort. Everyone on the Fijian staff, even those behind the scenes, will share this fund at end of year.

Is recommended. Please inquire with us at time of booking and we will be happy to provide a link to information regarding travel insurance, which offers many benefits.

Vaccination

No inoculations are needed for travel to Fiji.
