rada Autosense (sA 163U) is a battery powered urinal flushing operating system designed to provide water economy and energy saving benefits within the washroom.

rada Autosense can be preset to allow water to flush single or group urinals when the sensor detects the presence of a user. Both the waiting time prior to flushing and the flush duration can be preset.

Designed to be used in the UK with a flushing cistern and installed to satisfy the current Water regulations.* The water supply to the solenoid valve is recommended to be fitted with a strainer and isolation valve.

FlushingFlush duration can be preset to between 1 and 189 seconds.

Automatic 12 or 24 hour preset duty flush if no one uses the urinal.

rada Pulse electronic washroom control

The Rada Pulse electronic washroom flow control system will enable the precise control of showering, hand washing and urinal flushing outlets. A single Rada Pulse control box will control up to 10 outlets in any configuration. Each outlet is operated via a no touch sensor, ensuring maximum hygiene in the washroom.

The system is programmed remotely, via a hand held programmer. The Rada Pulse hand held programmer is simply plugged into the control box then used to either set up or adjust the flow settings of each individual outlet. This is done by following the easy to use menu structure.

Water flow to each outlet can be controlled to the second thereby providing the ultimate in economy. After adjusting the settings the programmer can be removed and thus stop any unwanted tampering.

Showering and Hand WashingAfter the user has activated the sensor the flow of water to the shower or basin spout runs for a preset period, after which the water is automatically shut off. If the user wishes to continue washing, they simply re-activate the sensor. Time setting functions can be easily programmed into the Rada Pulse Control Box using the Rada Pulse Hand Held Programmer.

Urinal FlushingAfter the user has activated the sensor for a single urinal there is an optional pre-flush of water to the urinal for a preset period, after which the water is automatically shut off. Time setting functions and duty flush cycles can be easily programmed into the Rada Pulse Control Box using the Rada Pulse Hand Held Programmer.

The sensor back plate is mounted via two fixing points. The cover is then fitted over the back plate and secured with a security screw on the underside of the cover. DescriptionThe Rada Pulse electronic washroom flow control system will enable the precise control of showering, hand washing and urinal flushing outlets. A single Rada Pulse control box will control up to 10 outlets in any configuration. Each outlet is operated via a no touch sensor and a universal solenoid valve (refer to Operating System datasheets for more information), ensuring maximum hygiene in the washroom.

the system is programmed remotely, via a hand held programmer. the Rada Pulse hand held programmer is simply plugged into the control box then used to either set up or adjust the flow settings of each individual outlet or check for faults in cable runs to solenoids and sensors. this is done by following the easy to use menu structure.

Installation and MaintenancePlease refer to the appropriate Product manual.

The control box is supplied with an easy to use fixing template and can be mounted in any plane. Access to the programmer socket should be considered when installing the control box.

Note! Any combination of showering, washbasin or urinal flushing (up to a maximum of 10) can be controlled from a single Rada Pulse control box. In addition the control box will also provide a signal for up to 3 auxiliary functions e.g. fans, lights and pumps.

the hand held controller has a back lit two line alpha numeric display. A four button key pad is used for scrolling through the menu structure and programming the timing options.

the programmer is multilingual and can be set by the user to display the menu in one of nine languages.

the sensor should be mounted on a flat smooth surface (e.g. centre of a tile) so that the seal on the reverse can prevent water ingress, otherwise a silicone sealant should be used. the sensor back plate is mounted via two fixing points. the cover is then fitted over the back plate and secured with a security screw on the underside of the cover. this conceals the wall fixing screws and prevents unwanted tampering.

the solenoid valve should be accessible for maintenance purposes. supplied complete with integral isolator and filter.

The sensor should be mounted on a flat smooth surface (e.g. centre of a tile) so that the seal on the reverse can prevent water ingress, otherwise a silicone sealant should be used. The sensor is mounted via two fixing points.The solenoid valve should be accessible for maintenance purposes. Supplied complete with integral isolator and filter.
