QUINN M & A

Michael Quinn has 30 years experience as a Chartered Accountant and

over 20 years as a practising Lawyer. He is the Director and Co-Founder of

The Quinn Group.

Michael began his career with Deloittes in 1978. He graduated from the

University of NSW with a Commerce degree in 1982 and earned his

qualification as a Chartered Accountant in 1984.

In 1989 he established Quinn Consultants, Chartered Accountants with his

brother Peter, an accounting firm specialising in tax and business advice.

Following his registration as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of NSW in

1995, Michael went on to form Quinn Lawyers focusing on commercial and

tax law.

He has been heavily involved in the M & A market for the last 15 years

through his experience as an Accountant, Auditor, Lawyer and Business

Broker. Consequently he is able to provide expert advice in all aspects of a

M & A transaction.

Stephen joined Quinn M & A as a Director after succeeding in a range of

transactional advisory, financial services and project management roles.

Most recently within this experience, Stephen worked in conjunction with a

large transactional advisory firm, managing countless business divestment

and acquisition projects for clients from a range of different industries.

Prior to this, Stephen worked extensively on over $200 million worth of

business acquisition and divestment projects for an Australian-based,

multi-national manufacturing and construction company.

Stephen holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is a Certified Practising

Business Broker with the Australian Institute of Business Brokers. He

is also a trained negotiator with ENS International – the world’s leading

authority on commercial negotiations.

Stephen is passionate about what he does, and frequently conducts

speaking engagements and training sessions to a range of different groups

including accountants, financial planners, lawyers and business owners.

Stephen has wide ranging experience with a number of different industries

and business types and specialises in advising clients on the divestment

and acquisition of high value companies throughout NSW. Stephen’s

extensive experience in business sales and purchases, accompanied

with his natural ability to build and manage relationships equip him to

consistently exceed his client’s expectations.
