Nature offers a whole range of variations. Wood shows different colours, variations and dimensions, depending on what part of the tree-trunk it was hewn from. � Hardness of the parquet floor

Choosing a variety of wood is usually a matter of personal taste. But it is a good idea to think carefully about the hardness of the different varieties of wood. The harder the variety, the more resistant the parquet. Our collections contain only varieties of wood with a high degree of hardness. This in combination with the super-hard Hevea core, that ensures a stable and durable Quick•Step® parquet.

Wood is a living substance and is subject to seasonal changes of climate. In order to minimise the stress on the parquet during such � uctuations of temperature and humidity, the various layers must be perfectly attuned to each other. Quick•Step®, as a pioneer in innovation and quality, knows how to create the perfect balance between those different layers. Thus, for example, the core is made of very hard Hevea wood. This layer is outstanding for absorbing stresses and strains. The result: a � oor you don’t have to worry about.

Rubberwood is very hard. This is very important when milling the Uniclic® Multi� t system. The stronger the core, the stronger the click.

In contrast to many other brands, Quick•Step® parquet can also be inserted horizontally. This is very important when installing the last row of parquet strips, or in places where it is dif� cult or even impossible to tilt them (under door frames or radiators, for example).

Just click your planks together. Bene� ts? This is much faster than systems that can only be installed using a hammer and tapping block. What’s more, you cannot damage the � oor panels.
