There are many types of question, Such as Yes No question, Information question, Negative question, Tag question etc.

A yes/ no question

A question that may be answered by yes or no is called yes/no question.

Ex: Does he live in Dhaka? Ans: Yes, he does

OR No, he doesn’t

Do Dave and his wife have any children? = Yes, they do. Or No, they do not.

Does he have any days off? = No, he doesn’t. Or Yes, he does.

Does he like being in the countryside? = Yes, he does. Or No, he doesn’t

Information Question

A question that asks for information by using a question word is called information question.

Ex: Where does he live? = He lives in Dhaka.
