What technologies have I used throughout my construction?

InDesign

Having started from nothing – I’ve certainly learnt a lot!

I’ve learnt how to set up the pages for the appropriate spread sizes

I’ve learnt how to insert and arrange pictures placing them appropriately

I’ve learnt how to use swatches I’ve learnt how to create pull quotes and drop capitals I’ve learnt how to adjust fonts, their positioning on the

page (baseline shift) and their thickness using the tools on the top bar of font features

I’ve learnt how to apply effects such as shadowing

What have I learnt in ‘InDesign’?

‘InDesign’ is used within the magazine industry – it’s a very popular software package to use because of the professional results it gives.

I’ve used the same technology to create my pieces as would be used within the real industry.
