5. How did you attract/address your audience?

We attracted the younger audiences in the age range of 15+ due to the fact of ‘Anonymous’ being a violent thriller it tends to attract typically young males. With in our film there is a very violent scene of the new born babies father being relentlessly stabbed by Reggie’s bad personality. The film is all based around a violent act and several violent acts will proceed to happen as the film continues. Throughout the film we see lots of over the shoulder shots of ‘Reggie’ as he progresses through the story. We used this to make the audience see the situations from his perspective and not see him as the villain throughout the production

The audience is put in the position of Reggie (The main character) and they get to witness all that he sees and nothing more due to the fact that we want them to feel as isolated and alone he actually is in his pursuit to abolish his alter ego. In the opening sequence the audience are left to make their own decisions on what they see in Reggie weather it be a good guy in a bad place or a full blown evil villain. This gives the impact we desired as most people who have now viewed the sequence have almost instantly taken Reggie’s side as he seem to be the poor distressed soul who has lost everything and even though they have seen him commit the murder they still take his side as he is still seem as the poor and remote character with nothing to gain but his sanity.

The way our thriller is constructed in the same way as most thrillers and we have stuck to the conventions thriller with the fact that the audience don’t know what’s happening until the first news report broadcast is heard and the murder has been described. The twist at the beginning of the film is that we are not told Reggie's name therefore we are forces to make the relationship between innocent Reggie and the horrific murder.

Audience member Michael Rumble: I thought the film was good, however with a few floors. As a 17 year old male I found this production to be very drawing and interesting, I would like to see the rest of the film if it was ever made into a fill feature length production.
