  1. 1. I attracted my audience by using bright attractive colour for my colour scheme, I used colours such as red, white and blue, I did this to ensure my audiences will remember my magazine cover page, and even be able to recognise it from a distance, as colours such as red are most likely to stick around in peoples mind, leading them to remembering and knowing my magazine, just as XXL magazine and hip hop weekly the magazines I researched and looked at for my case studies, and I also looked to their magazine when deciding on my colour scheme. The feedback I received on choice of colours what that I made a very good choice choosing such colours as they are very good colours and really go well together and with my magazine idea. I also used consistent font styles throughout my music magazine, I used the similar styles of front on most of my pages, however some comments I received on the first draft of my contents page was to change up my font and make it more consistent making it easier for audiences to read and understand. I did change it up on my cover page, as the fonts has to be bigger and bolder in order to interest readers more and as it is a cover page and needs to more intense, which is why I used such vivid
  2. 2. I have used simple fonts to help readers be able to read if from a distance, I especially did this after the comments I received on my blog. As some of the texts and fonts I had before were a little hard to read and hard to make out what word is what, Even the text and fonts and colours used for the double page spread are pretty simple, to help audiences understand what I going on. As well as this my journalism was very clear and concise, I used a simple question and answer method, which I did intentionally to intrigue my audiences as a question and answer interview method is better than just providing them with lots of information on the artist, which theyll try to read but probably get bored of it time, and the use of a Q and A makes the readers feel more connected to article and therefore attracting them and interesting them into it. I have also used formal language but it isnt too formal as this is a magazine aimed at young adults and it will attract them more if the language is more simple and easier to read. Some of the feedback I received from my blog was mainly based on my contents page and my audience mainly pointed out that my contents page should be a little more plain and laid back, that I should use consistent fonts throughout my contents page, I read all these comments and went back and changed my font and the style of the overall contents page to gratify my audience.
  3. 3. Another way I think I really attracted my audience was the pull out quote I used, thanking fans for their support towards the music artists and on seeing this, the audience will want to read on and know what it was exactly that they are being thanked for. The cover-lines I have used on the cover page of my music magazine, have been positioned a specific way to grab audiences attention. I have also placed them where and how I have for it to be easy to read and understand. The colours I have used for these cover- lines are bright and colourful to engage readers an make them think twice about them and encourages them to think more about what the magazine has to offer and what it will tell them. I used cover lines which I knew were going to spark awareness in my readers mind and will get them talking about these topics to other fans, which will then want to know whats going on and my magazine will become irresistible to them.
