In the fashion industry, a fashion show is the means which designers use to introduce new
clothing collections. Queenz Institute of Fashion proudly presents its Fashion show "ITI_2017"
Through this show, our students will get a practical exposure of how a fashion show
incorporates design, music, elements of dance or movement, oral commentary, and lighting
to present new fashion concepts. This also serves as a platform in bringing out the designers
in them. As we are giving a kick start to their career in the fashion industry through our
fashion show, appropriately we have named it as "ITI".
(“ITI”derived from a Sanskrit word which means "start".)
Andhra Handlooms
The State of Andhra Pradesh is world famous for its handlooms. Perhaps no other region in the
world has as much variety in handlooms as Andhra has to offer. Almost every village in the state
has something original and distinctive to contribute to the world of textiles. The weavers of the
state produce a whole range of handlooms like sarees, dupattas, dress material, and furnishing
material. If Pochampalli produces vibrantly colored ikkats, Venkatagiri and Chirala turn out
extremely fine cotton sarees. If Uppada has successfully replicated intricate Jamdani designs,
Dharmavaram has for ages been producing rich silks. Not to be left behind is Ponduru khadi,
which is handmade from the time the cotton is picked in the fields to the final stage of showcasing
the finished material.
It has been our endeavor to bring all such textiles to the fashion- world…….
Andhra Handicrafts
Andhra Pradesh is also famous for astonishing
handicrafts. Whether it is needle craft or
bronze castings, metal craft or wood craft,
Andhra Pradesh has a wide array of
handicrafts that can become a part of your
lifestyle. The eminence of these handicrafts
lies in their traditional method of creation.
Etikoppaka, Kondapalli, Banjara needle
embroidery are just few of the well-known
handicrafts of Andhra Pradesh. We are
representing the age old traditions of Andhra
Handicrafts in our collection.

terms of economy. It is the main commercial
hub of the state, which contribute a larger
share to the economic growth of Andhra
Pradesh through various sectors like heavy
industries, tourism and IT sector. We are
projecting the transformation of vizag to a
smart city through our collections.

Venkatagiri Sarees
The pride of Andhra Pradesh, the famous
weave from the Nellore district of the
state, the fine weaving of Venkatagiri
sarees backdates to the early 1700’s
when these sarees were produced at an
artisan cluster close to Nellore then

back then used to weave these sarees
only for the royal families. Created using
golden fine threads that render them a
shimmering effect, lavish pallu and
border that is embroidered intricately
using golden thread is the most unique
feature of Venkatagiri silk sarees.
Mangalagiri Sarees
The Mangalagiri fabric is produced

for both warp and weft with extra
warp design in the border. The
extra warp design is specially

Uppada Sarees
In 1972, Uppada weavers were
recognized by Govt. of India with

it takes a week to a fortnight which
