Continued public involvement process
Vetted possible sites for the CBTC
Completed preliminary engineering work for the
Western Turnaround and connection to Union Station
Began engineering and environmental analysis for CBTC
site
Mayor Gray announced 6-year capital funding for $237.3
million for streetcar
Initiated DC Historic and Cultural Resources Review
Administered community survey to solicit feedback on
CBTC designs
Developed two conceptual CBTC site plans
Ordered two additional streetcars
Will bring on board the Design/Build Team and Operator
later this spring
Anticipate a Notice to Proceed on Design later this spring
