ELK RIVER ROCK & BOULDERS Create a natural landscape feel using these beautiful, locally mined rocks. Our Elk River rock has a variety of color in it, enhancing the look of all types of plantings. We offer sizes from 2" for drainage to 24" that can be used to create boulder walls.

Our exclusive 2" River Rock is consistent in size throughout the load. It’s the ideal rock for around buildings and driveways. It does not wash away in rain storms, or move when blowing leaves away.

Our river rocks are priced according to size and are used for erosion control, landscaping, retaining walls, creek bed lining and decorative ponds. We also carry professional-grade rip rap ranging in sizes from 2" to 24".

ROAD BASE MATERIALS We make our own Class 5 and Recycled Concrete at our Elk River facility. Our quality base products are available in a variety of colors and product choices to meet your specification and pocketbook. All road and driveway base materials are considered compactable materials and will make a firm driving surface for a range of applications, from cart paths to road construction base.

New IRON-ENHANCED SAND & MIXES An innovation in stormwater runoff treatment. This mix of C-33 Concrete Sand and 5% Iron Filings captures an average 88% phosphate for at least 200 m of treated depth. It offers high pollutant removal rates, is good for nutrient impaired water, can be used as a retrofit for existing areas, and is suitable for cold climates. HEATED & DRY SANDSTo ensure that you can get dry sand when you need it, Plaisted has built a dry sand storage bin system that holds multiple types of sand. Contractors find our dry mason and concrete sands easy to work with. Heated sand allows for construction to continue during cold weather. We carry these sands:
