Quality Performance Department Newsletter Thompson R2-J Systems Alignment Update Volume 2, Issue 10 May 2011 Updating Professional Development Practices This team is adjusting their work to reflect more APT and Classified work. Licensed Performance Management/ Evaluation Tool – Still piloting their work after all these months? Yes! They are in the middle of the pilot year. Check with someone from TVHS, TMS, CWPES, ISES for the scoop. Classified Performance Management/ Evaluation Tool – This team has been busy preparing the new tool, reviewing training best practices, and presenting to various groups around the district. Keep your eyes open for feedback and training opportunities so you are ready for Fall ‘11 rollout. APT Performance Management/Evaluation Tool– Keeping up with the new state mandates on evaluations has been a priority on this team. They have completed research, requested info from Principal Learning and Leadership and School Support Leadership teams. The tool has been drafted and now is being used with senior cabinet members. They should provide feedback in just a couple months. Be ready for the fall rollout. Customer Service – This team is knee deep in data analysis. They want to know how customer service is delivered at the admin building. Also, this team is reviewing other school districts nationwide to see what customer service models exist. Recognizing Excellence – Who will you nominate? How will you share the nomination process with your staff? Contact Kendrick White, 613-7003 or Annette Overton, 613-5010 for details. Go to district resources/district forms/Recognizing Excellence for the application or call 5010 and Annette will send you one through interoffice mail. They have developed a protocol for meetings and you should be seeing posters in the district meeting rooms. Check them out and make sure your meeting facilitators take their suggestions.
