Clozapine Maintenance Quick Reference Guide
For patients being initiated on clozapine, refer to the Clozapine Initiation and Titration Quick Reference Guide.
Clozapine Order
1. Navigate to the Order Profile screen from the Menu.
2. Click +Add.
3. Search for and select the Clozapine order sentence.
4. Fill in the required details, as indicated by the blue
cross icon . Dose and indication are mandatory
fields that require populating.
5. Adjust the other fields if required (frequency, first
dose date and time, etc).
6. If the dose needs to be split into twice daily dosing,
two separate orders should be completed.
7. Review orders then click Sign and Refresh.
8. Review the MAR.
Clozapine Prescriptions
To prescribe discharge or outpatient prescriptions for clozapine, refer to the Clozapine Prescriptions Quick Reference Guide.
