BO XI REPORTING ENVIRONMENT FOR ADNS
1. ABOUT THIS DOCUMENT
1.1. Audience
All the users involved with ADNS application and reporting could take benefit to have an overview of the graphical user interface provided within this reporting environment.
1.1.1. Purpose
This guide describes how to access and use the 5 documents available in the BO XI environment. Explanantions are provided by various screenshots.
Reports are described to provide an overview about what they request to answer also about what they can provide.
1.2. Preamble
1.2.1. Context
This new reporting environment replaces the BO6.5 reporting environment which is phased out.
1.2.2. Points to mention
There is no difference in report availability and users rights.
Access (login and password) remains the same.
This environment provides more functionalities to the users.
1.2.3. Main differences between BO6.5 and this environment
Category ADNS in BO6.5 is renamed Folder MS reports in BO XI environment

2. ADNS REPORTING INTERFACE
This chapter provides explanations about the reporting interface and describes the main functionalities. Reports layout and content are described in another chapter.
2.1. Access

2.1.1. Login page and folder navigation
2.1.1.1. Login page
This is the login page of the reporting environment.
Login has to be typed at the User Name field. The second field is of common sense.

2.1.1.2. Main page
Please click on the 'Document List' item displayed within this main page.
2.1.2. Folder pane and navigation
2.1.2.1. First folder page
This is the main user environment. Reports are stored within folders. The default folder is named 'Public Folders'.
The right pane displays the folder's tree.
The left pane (Title) displays the folder content.

2.1.2.2. Navigation through the folders
Navigating in the folder hierarchy can be done by direct clicking upon the folder name or clicking on the button.
• Direct click on the folder name
By this way, the content of the folder is displayed on the right pane.
• Click on This action expands the tree node and displays the content (folder or reports) in the right pane.

2.3. Document input and refresh
2.3.1. Data selection/input
This chapter describes the various input fields and the various actions given to the user to input or select data before refreshing a report.
2.3.1.1. Prompts screen as displayed at the opening
The button 'Refresh Data' allows to invoke the above Prompts screen to start a new search.

User can type directly the value.

Countri(e)s) list is used as example. User can select/deselect value(s) available by refreshing, selecting and moving the item to the prompt window.

2.3.2. Refresh of the document
The button 'Run Query' starts the refreshing process of the report.
2.4. Document exploitation (Save results – View – Zoom Search)
This chapter briefly explains the 'tools' available to set the report at your needs.
The following buttons fills these actions.
Save is available with the 'Document' button.
'View' allows you to display the data in various manners.
You can also search in document through navigation and manual search.

2.4.1. Document actions
You can save in Excel, PDF or CSV format.
We save as PDF as example.
The system will ask you to choose between an immediate display on the screen or to save the results on disk.

2.4.2. View
This option lets you to define how to see the report on screen and also to define the screen environment as the 'Left Panel' and the 'Status Bar' are displayed by default.

2.4.2.3. Exiting from the PDF mode

Therefore it is allowed to exit this view mode by clicking the button 'View in HTML format'.

2.4.4. Left pane tools
Four tools are provided : Navigation Map – User Prompt Input – Input Control(unused) – Find
They are grouped and displayed at the footer of the left pane.
2.4.4.1. Navigation Map
This button is active by default.
Some reports are created with sections. The navigation takes this opportunity by displaying the sections available.
The report used for this example has two levels : country – disease.

Clicking on the item 'by country' only activates it.
