ABOUT THIS PROGRAM

The love of music is inborn in every Filipino. Our songs fill all seasons and stages of our

lives. It is through singing that we share our sorrow, joy and hope. Plan W of Diageo

Philippines, in cooperation with the Andrea O. Veneracion Sing Philippines, seeks to

empower women choral conductors and vocal ensemble teachers to build national spirit

and character through the art of choral singing.

The Sing Philippines movement brings to life National Artist Andrea O. Veneracion’s

vision of a nation singing in harmony and united in songs.

Plan W is part of Diageo’s new 2020 sustainability and responsibility targets which aims

to build thriving communities. Through Plan W, the goal is to empower two million

women across all socio-economic profiles by 2017 giving them opportunities to learn

and develop skills to be able to influence society and the economy.

A first in the country, the collaboration of Diageo Philippines’ Plan W and Sing

Philippines aims to nourish the Filipino woman’s abilities and spirit – affirming the
