Residential Camps for PWMI & their careers

Residential camps are part of Community Mental

health Programme. To provide psycho social

education to caregivers , we have conducted 3

residential programs at Davanagere District in

following month and dates like 29th June to 1st

July 2016, 16th to 17th September 2016 & 28th to

30th September 2016 at Harapanahalli, through

these camps including PWMI & caregivers 193

members had participated.

In these camps Dr. Ramachandra reddy, Dr.Nagaraju, Mr. Roopa naik, Mr, Manjunath,Mr. Nagappa, Mr. Sangappa & Mr. Hulirajuhave participated as a resource personsand they presented on Mental illness,causes, symptoms, Treatment, side effects,Depression & its management, emotionalproblems, Disability 3% Budget, Bankloans, Govt. Schemes, Communityleadership, Federation member’s role &Responsibilities .

Outcome of Residential camp 193 PWMI and careers knew about mental

illness causes, symptoms, Treatment, tablets side effects, emotional problem and federation advantages.

Reduced stigma about mental ill and they involved in PWMI rehabilitation.

They understood about Federation members’ role and responsibility.

They Understood about different Govt schemes and method of access them .
