Push-ups for Power:

The Power of the Push-up

We will instruct the students how to develop incredible power by using one's own bodyweight with the Push-up. Often relegated to a simple warm-up callisthenic, the Push-up possesses incredible

power building potential. We'll cover some of the most potent variations.

Performance: Most people do not perform Push-ups properly. They flare their elbows, overload their shoulders and drop into the movement. To perform properly, you must engage your lats, twist

your palms into the floor and perform an active negative on the decent.

How the push-up can unlock untapped power and size development.

Instruction in dynamic tension and push-up variations to develop strength and size. The 5 Second

and 10 Second Push-up variations for muscular endurance and strength.

We will discuss routines from Greasing the Groove to the Century Workout to the Marine Corp

Strength & conditioning programs.
