TRANSCRIPT
Vancouver is among a network of cities around the world such as New York, London, San Francisco and Sydney that have become increasingly desirable places to live. Dynamic economies, innovation, and cultural diversity all contribute to the characteristics of a livable city. However, with the rapid commodification of housing, city residents are experiencing unprecedented limitations in accessing the private housing market. The recent trends in housing markets are not sustainable and this is an urgent issue affecting Vancouver’s present and future generations.
Re:Address Summit is a two-day invite-only summit on October 26-27, which will feature keynote speakers and a panel of experts on housing from around the globe.
