Extension - The word Extension is derived fromthe Latin roots ex meaning Out ' and ' tensiomeaning stretching. Stretching out is the
meaning of Extension. It is a demand driven outof school education and other services of theacademe in the communities utilizing expertiseon instruction, applying research outputs and
providing needed goods and professional servicesto communities in dire need. It utilize socialmobilization as a tool to effectively reach out.
