BURN HAZARD Equipment surfaces and fluid that’s heated can become very hot during operation. To avoid severe burns, do not touch hot fluid or equipment. Wait until equipment/fluid has cooled completely.

Shut Down1. Flush material from H-20/35-GE proportioner.

2. Place pump into the Park position.

3. Relieve pressure. See H20/35-GE operation man-ual.

4. Turn off and disconnect power.

Assemble New Pumpline

Assemble New Pumpline1. Attach proportioning pumps (purchased separately)

to hydraulic cylinder (1).

2. Align hydraulic cylinder(1) on a work bench between the two proportioning pumps.

3. Align B side pump with the hole on the shaft in the vertical position to match the clevis on the B side of the hydraulic cylinder (1). See FIG. 1.

4. Align A side pump with the hole on the shaft in the horizontal position to match the clevis on the A side of the hydraulic pump. See FIG. 2.

5. Push shaft on hydraulic cylinder (1) all the way to the A side. The A side clevis should be horizontal and the B side clevis should be vertical.

6. Place two o-rings (18) on each end of lube cylinder (17). See FIG. 3.

7. Add two fittings (14, 11) to cylinder. See FIG. 4.

8. Slide lube cylinder (17) on A side of hydraulic cylin-der (1). See FIG. 3.

9. Place A pump shaft into hydraulic cylinder clevis. Align holes and place clevis pin (19) into hole using a clevis pin extractor (15). See FIG. 5.

10. Insert four bolts (13) into pump lower and tighten pump lower to hydraulic cylinder (1) using a 1/4 in. allen wrench (9). See FIG. 6.

11. Insert red plug (8) and tighten into lube cylinder (17). See FIG. 4.

12. Place B pump shaft into clevis of hydraulic cylinder (1). Align holes and use clevis pin extractor tool (15) to insert clevis pin (19) into clevis. See FIG. 7.

13. Insert four bolts (13) into pump lower and tighten pump lower towards hydraulic cylinder (1) using a 1/4 in. allen wrench (9). See FIG. 8.

14. Remove fitting (F) on top of both pump lowers and pressure relief disk (PD) on backside of pump low-ers. See FIG. 9.

15. Insert plugs (2) in holes where the pressure relief disks (PD) were located on both proportioning pumps.

16. Replace top fitting (F) with new fittings (10) that are supplied in kit.

17. Set aside new pumpline until original pumpline is removed.

Be careful as the pump lower tightens towards the hydraulic cylinder (1) that the o-rings (18) on the lube cylinder (17) are not pinched in the housing.

1. Shut down. See page 4.

2. Loosen and remove output hoses from pump low-ers. See FIG. 10 and FIG. 11.

3. Remove four bolts holding hydraulic switch valve. See FIG. 12.

a. Do not lose four o-rings on bottom of switch valve. Save bolts.

b. Do not remove electrical connectors.

4. Remove four bolts holding the hydraulic manifold to the hydraulic cylinder. See FIG. 13.

a. Do not lose two o-rings on bottom of manifold.

b. Discard the bolts.

Repairing this equipment requires access to parts which may cause electric shock or other serious injury if work is not performed properly. Have a quali-fied electrician connect power and ground to main power switch terminals; see the H20/35-GE opera-tion manual. Be sure to shut off all power to the equipment.

5. Remove Iso lube jar from pumpline and disconnect Iso lube jar hoses. See FIG. 14.

6. With two people holding pumpline, remove four bolts (B) that secure the pumpline to the backside of the panel. It maybe necessary to remove the switch cover (SC). Discard the bolts after they have been removed. The hydraulic manifold and hydraulic switch valve will remain with the unit. See FIG. 15 and FIG. 16.

7. Move pumpline away from unit.

Install New Pumpline1. Use two people to place the pumpline next to

mounting holes on unit. Using the supplied four bolts (5), flat washer (7) and lock washer (6) attach pumpline to unit through the back using the 1/4 allen wrench (9). Replace switch cover if it was removed earlier. See FIG. 15 and FIG. 16.

2. Attach hydraulic manifold to top of hydraulic cylinder (1). Verify the two original o-rings are around holes on bottom of manifold. Use four supplied bolts (4) to tighten manifold to cylinder. See FIG. 17.

3. Attach hydraulic switching valve to hydraulic mani-fold. Verify the four original o-rings are secure on bottom of switching valve. Original bolts will be used for attaching. See FIG. 17.

4. Align fitting on both A and B side proportioning pumps to output tubes. Attach tubes to each fitting (10) and tighten. Tighten nut on bottom of each fit-ting to lock fitting into place. See figure 18.

5. Using supplied union nipples (16), apply pipe thread sealer to each and tighten into bottom of each pro-portioning pump. Add supplied 90° fitting (3) to each nipple. See FIG. 19.

6. Reinstall original inlet manifolds to each fitting (3). See FIG. 19.

7. Connect new Iso lube jar. See FIG. 14 on page 8.

CAUTION

Verify that the A side manifold is on the A side and B manifold is on the B side. Mixing of the manifolds may cause material to react.

Restart Unit

Restart Unit1. Reconnect power supply to unit.

2. Turn on unit.

3. Pressurize chemicals and open supply lines. Check all fittings for chemical leakage. If leakage is noticed, tighten fitting.

4. Bleed chemical through hose to remove solvents or oils used to flush unit.

5. After flushing solvent or oils out of unit, start up unit according to operational manual.

6. After unit has reached operating temperature and pressure, again check all fittings for leakage. If no leaks are found, unit is ready for operation.

Graco Standard WarrantyGraco warrants all equipment referenced in this document which is manufactured by Graco and bearing its name to be free from defects in material and workmanship on the date of sale to the original purchaser for use. With the exception of any special, extended, or limited warranty published by Graco, Graco will, for a period of twelve months from the date of sale, repair or replace any part of the equipment determined by Graco to be defective. This warranty applies only when the equipment is installed, operated and maintained in accordance with Graco’s written recommendations.

This warranty does not cover, and Graco shall not be liable for general wear and tear, or any malfunction, damage or wear caused by faulty installation, misapplication, abrasion, corrosion, inadequate or improper maintenance, negligence, accident, tampering, or substitution of non-Graco component parts. Nor shall Graco be liable for malfunction, damage or wear caused by the incompatibility of Graco equipment with structures, accessories, equipment or materials not supplied by Graco, or the improper design, manufacture, installation, operation or maintenance of structures, accessories, equipment or materials not supplied by Graco.

This warranty is conditioned upon the prepaid return of the equipment claimed to be defective to an authorized Graco distributor for verification of the claimed defect. If the claimed defect is verified, Graco will repair or replace free of charge any defective parts. The equipment will be returned to the original purchaser transportation prepaid. If inspection of the equipment does not disclose any defect in material or workmanship, repairs will be made at a reasonable charge, which charges may include the costs of parts, labor, and transportation.

THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE, AND IS IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
