I am proud to present the new Corporate Brochure of the MarFlex Group, a Netherlands-based company that has served the worldwide marine and offshore markets since its foundation in 1980.

In 1989 we introduced the electric drive deepwell pump system on board a Dutch inland tanker. This step proved to be distinctly significant for the development of electric drive pump systems for modern tankers. Our pumps have low energy consumption and noise levels, and are easy to install, efficient in maintenance and environmentally friendly.

Despite the company’s strong expansion, we have managed to retain our flexibility and innovative capacity, and hence our prominent role in the marine market. These values – together with quality and customer focused thinking and action – will therefore continue to be the pillars of the Pumping Excellence philosophy guiding the further development of MarFlex.

Over the years, we have installed more than 12,000 deepwell pumps on board inland barges, coastal tankers, seagoing tankers, offshore shuttle tankers, FPSOs, FSOs etc. I hope you find this brochure inspiring, and will feel that our MarFlex products match your wishes and expectations.

Pumping Excellence

NQZR is our latest product line, featuring the measurement of a wide range of cargo, slop and ballast tank temperatures, pressures and levels. It also incorporates a number of improvements on our standard pump design, allowing measurement of temperatures of the pump bearing and electric motor, pump discharge pressure and lubrication levels. We have capitalized on advancing technology and developed a single point of contact that monitors all equipment via a 32” touch screen.

All our efforts would have little value if the quality did not match your standards. MarFlex recognizes this by continually adjusting and improving our working methods. This is practised by means of regular workshops with established institutes like NIL (Dutch Institute for welders), allowing the workforce to adapt their working attitudes to Total Quality.

In addition, our rigorous quality policies (formalized feedback administration in our stakeholder value chain) enable us to learn effectively from our mistakes, and thus to reduce the risk of repeat failures and make product improvements. The MarFlex quality management system is certified under Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance: ISO 9001:2008. However, we firmly believe that teamwork and workforce attitude lead to better quality.

While we strive for total quality to limit such failures, we have all the necessary resources in place for attending 24/7 service calls on a global scale.
