Northwest 138 Corridor Improvement Project Review the DraEIR/EIS and join us at a Public Hearing DraEIR/EIS Available for Review and Comment The Draſt Environmental Impact Report/Statement (Draſt EIR/EIS) for the Northwest 138 Corridor Improvement Project is now available for public review and comment through September 19, 2016. The DraEIR/EIS is available at metro.net/nw138 and other public locaons along the corridor. Visit the project website for a complete list of locaons where you can view the document. The DraEIR/EIS was developed by the California Department of Transportaon (Caltrans), in cooperaon with the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportaon Authority (Metro), to evaluate corridor alternaves and related operaonal improvements such as improving sight distances and bringing non- standard roadway features up to current design standards. The Northwest 138 Corridor extends approximately 36 miles along State Route 138 (SR-138) between Interstate 5 (I-5) and State Route 14 (SR-14) in Los Angeles County. Public Hearings The public hearings provide an opportunity to learn about the proposed project alternaves through displays and a short presentaon summarizing the results of the environmental analysis.
