Since more than 50 years PSG Plastic Service offers innovative solu-

tions for Hot Runner Systems and control technology. You receive a

complete range of nozzles and manifolds plus Hot Runner Control-

lers, which match and adapt.

These products are developed, manufactured, and tested under

real-life scenarios at three sites in Germany. By this we guarantee

quality made in Germany, fast availability, flexible solutions, and

Open nozzles, valve gate nozzles, injection nozzles - from the smallest

nozzle “Nano” for small cog wheels to the biggest nozzle “Easy-Shot” for

bumpers we offer a nearly complete nozzle range with suitable manifolds.

PSG nozzles offer you significant advantages:

Full flexibility in tool designNozzles can be cut exactly to your pre-specified length. Freely adjustable

to 1000 mm. This leaves you with all advantages in tool design, component

integration, and reduces your cost as it makes expenses for tool adjust-

ments obsolete.

Economical and short delivery timesPossible with a combined building-block system. With only a few base

components we build a large number of products.

All-over nozzle program shot weight from 0.1 to 10.000 g

Serviceability as design principleHeaters and sensors are assembled at our factory and are therefore easily

changed at your site. This saves cost and time-intensive repair work by

specialized service personnel. All functional parts are exchangeable.

Exact needle positioning to 0.01mmPSG precision valve gates guarantee hardly visible injection points and a

high reproducibility of the high-quality gate through a cylindrical fit and

pre-centered needle guidance. PSG offers a new operating unit for exact

needle positioning. With one turn, the needle can be exactly positioned

within 0.01 mm.

Individual solutionsWe are pleased to develop for you off-standard modifications, component

sizes, or other characteristics. We fulfill all possible product requirements

without you having to engage in expensive in-house developments. 0.01mm continuously adjustable operating units and without post-cooling as standard.

Innovative solutions for manifolds, hot halves, cascade injection ...

From the modular system to individual geometries PSG offers the appropri-

ate manifold with a height of 33 to 70 mm. Depending on requirements

heated on one or both sides. All PSG manifolds are available in rust- and

acid resistant execution. The use of chromium containing steel cares for

process security and maximizes lifetime of hot runner systems.

Short term availability of the Hot Runner SystemReason: To use standard geometries (I-, H,- X-manifold). The nozzle posi-

tions can be configured individually and there is free choice of injection

position - in given limits.

Cascade injection the gentle wayPSG offers two new products for the cascade injection. varioFILL und VCON,

the new solutions for sequential control of the valve pin.

pipeLine: The revolutionary pipe concept for Hot Runner Systems

Unbelievable but true: 80% less pipes and a much higher stability of the

tool. In conventional systems each operating unit must be connected with

four pipes, two for hydraulic and two for the cooling. This makes for a

8drop system 32 pipes!

The required space for the pipes must be cut out of the mold plate. This

means an extra effort and thereby reduces the tool stability.

The new pipeLine from PSG connects the operating units only with two

pipes. A pressure pipe and a return pipe!

Quick as a flashEach operating unit is electrically controlled by a valve. This works by the

electronic control without delay.

cially in the most demanding applications, we have the advantage

The design has to sell, handling must feel good, the box has to withstand a lot, ... other wishes?

Pallets or carrier boxes have to resist a lot: extreme mechanical de-

mand, permanently deviating temperatures or UV radiation. A special

challenge for the Hot Runner, because thermal damages are very of-

ten not visible and can only be detected by a hardness test. Whether

shortening of cycle times by special cooling bushing at the gate in-

sert, PSG knows the crux of the matter and has a wide process- and

application know-how available. So the optical characteristics as well

as the rating are ok.

For good reason considerable automotive manufacturers and suppli-

ers are on the customer list of PSG. PSG is the Hot Runner partner for

all plastic parts of the auto body in regard to the Smart project. Not

only because of the discussion about the climate the concept of the

Smart is up to date like never before.

known automobile manufacturer: With a long glass fiber content of

30%, the strength was increased and the weight of the parts reduced

profiTEMP offers a first class control performance, a high quality and excel-

lent functions, which makes your work in the daily injection molding more

enjoyable and safer.

Integrated expert system Important alarm features that make the injection molding process safer and

a self-explanatory simple operating logic are included at PSG at no extra

charge. Whether 6 zones with display or 250 zones with touch screen all

profiTEMPs are based on the same operating concept. This shortens the

time for programming and prevents difficult operations.

The Hot Runner Control of profiTEMP is so convincing that well-known

injection molding machine manufacturer integrate profiTEMP into their in-

jection molding machine when customers make requirements on the control

systems.

adapted to your production conditions. Here our engineers assist you on

site. Free of charge and without obligation! And in daily injection molding

operations our integrated software supports you by simple operation. Ad-

ditionally, all control technology modules can be scaled to your needs.

Operations, which make your life easierprofiTEMP gives alarm at first overmolding. If profiTEMP prevents only 1 x

overmolding by having this function, he has made himself fully paid. No
