Examination Start Dates
All of the dates for examinations given are provisional start dates and are listed as week
commencing. This does not mean that all the exams will start on the Monday of each week
but generally will be expected to start some time during the particular week. Although every
effort will be made to adhere to these, candidates should bear in mind that the official start
date for each examination will be found in the published timetables at the following link:

Examinations to be held in the academic year 2010-2011 are listed in this booklet in order of
the dates by which entries are required.

If they are medical students they take the First BM examination, Part I in their third term and Part II in their
fifth term from matriculation and then, the Honour School in Medical Sciences. A candidate who has passed
at least three subjects in the First BM examination is deemed to have passed the First Public examination.
