Proposed Registration Fee

• Estimated full conference fee (based on world conditions in 2013): $825 to $925

• Estimated student fee: $450-$500

Note: estimates based on 2013 registration fees for like TMS-sponsored conferences. A complete budget and registration fees will be established two years prior to the conference. Every effort will be made to assure fees are in-line with previous conferences (with annual inflation considerations). Final fees based upon formal proposal approval by TMS Board of Directors.

ICF15 Marketing Strategy• TMS will utilize its 11K+ members, and 20K+

contacts to market the conference throughout the world to our industrial, corporate and government contacts.

• TMS will seek sponsorship from other organizations, as appropriate.

Delegate boosting: • Tourism Vancouver will work closely with our 10

BestCities Global Alliance Partners Berlin, Cape Town, Chicago, Copenhagen, Dubai, Edinburgh, Houston, Melbourne, Singapore and to promote ICF15 in Vancouver

• Complimentary access marketing collateral including images, brochures, videos, etc.

• Create a Grand Prize draw for ICF14 to use to market to potential exhibitors or early registration.

On-site services• A manned tourist information booth at the ICF15

venue during the congress. Space is to be provided complimentary by organizers.

• A 1 hour briefing meeting for accompanying persons.

• Promotional materials for the delegates such as city maps and visitors’ guides.


ICF15 Pan American Strategy

• TMS will leverage its relationship with professional societies to market the conference throughout North and South America

• Tourism Vancouver will work closely with our BestCities Global Alliance Partners in Chicago and Houston to promote ICF15 in Vancouver


ICF15 Industry ProgramStrong industrial support will be

a key focus of ICF15

• The Federal and Provincial ministries as well as the City of Vancouver are supporting the bid to host ICF15 in Vancouver

• Efforts to attract strong industrial support will be a key focus to assure the success of ICF15. Using TMS and partnering society contacts, industrial supporters will be solicited and provided with a variety of options to engage in the conference and assure its success. Opportunities will include the ability to present talks, publishing papers, secure sponsorship and/or exhibition space, as well as other custom arrangements that might be considered to attract industry.

this proposal to host the ICF15 in Vancouver, British Columbia

• The ICF15/TMS team, in concert with ICF, will create an international & Pan American strategy to advance the global mission and brand of ‘ICF: the World Academy of Structural Integrity’

• The ICF15/TMS team will develop accountable metrics to ensure that ICF15 is the leading world conference in the discipline of fracture and structural integrity
