Prop Reason why/InspirationThis is an important part of my magazine as it’s a rock magazine so the guitar will make better scenery and make it look more rocky and making it black makes it look more gothic and appropriate for a rock magazine.The drum kit also adds to my genre of rock magazine as it will demonstrate it’s a rock band and with the guitar it will mean that it looks more like magazines such as kerrang! and rock sound which mean it will look more professional.This t-shirt makes it look much more gothic like the stereotypes which are with tattoos and piercings the way its black means it could strand out against a white background on my magazine and the skull makes it a lot more gothic. The t-shirt can be from any rock band as long as the t-shirts black to emphasis the rock aspect of the magazine.The lip piercing makes the person look rockier and emo and it adds more color to the magazine and it shines in the photos and makes it look a lot more interesting.

Black jeans match the top to make it look even more gothic and black against the white background. This looks more like the pictures on other magazines as it will stand out more. The jeans can be any brand but they must be black and it doesn’t matter if they have rips on them.All the bands make the people look like they also enjoy other bands and like to support each other in their music carrier these could also be used on the magazine as prizes or something the audience could be wearing.

Adobe InDesign is a useful desktop publishing software for creating the layout on my double page spread which is useful in making my magazine its easy are you can use templates to create an easy layout and you can easily import and export pictures. In design also allows you to create text which is used to advertise the magazine and draw in readers.
