AKSHAYA PATRA CASE STUDY

PRONTO

Solving a Case study for the Akshaya PatraFoundation (one of the leading NGOs), our DoMSstudents Chandan Raj and Shriya secured the firstplace at Yukti, a social case study event of IIMTrichy's symposium Arcturus 4.0. They competedagainst students from several premier B-schools likeIIM Trichy, IIM Bangalore, BIM and WellingkarInstitute of Management. The event was judged bythe Senior Manager, Client servicing, of the AkshayaPatra Foundation. Mr. Sarabjeet Gajwani. The casestudy was about an ongoing issue about the NGOAkshaya Patra itself, where the participants had tocome up with strategies to improvise theirrelationship with their donors. The strategy had to beframed with major focus on their digital mediapresence. To solve this, our team from DoMS workedon an extensive research on what the NGO hadalready been doing and came up with innovativesuggestions for improvisation based on the analysisof a survey that they had done for this purpose. This, research work in particular was lauded by the ChiefGuest Mr. Gajwani, as their presentation stood outfrom the others with the analysis that they had done.“The other presentations were, however, praiseworthy in their own way and we could gain alot of exposure from this event by looking at thesame case from different perceptions” says the DoMSduo who won a cash prize and access to onlinecourses on Business Planning and Analytics.
