British Airways chief executive Willie Walsh has waived his right to the bonus he is entitled to after the airline racked up almost £1bn in profits in the past year. Mr Walsh is due the cash after BA hit long-standing financial targets, but is passing because of the shambolic opening
of Heathrow's new Terminal 5 earlier this year.

Chronemics

monochronic v polychronic time systems
In a monochronic time system:
things are done one at a time
time is segmented into precise, small units.
Under this system time is scheduled, arranged and managed.
In a polychronic time system
a more fluid approach is taken to scheduling time
tradition and relationships valued more than tasks
multitasking is common.
