www.projectsharetexas.org• The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is proud to announce a new initiative that will explore the development and delivery of high quality professional development in an interactive and engaging learning environment. Project Share utilizes a collection of Web 2.0 tools and applications to provide professional development resources for teachers across the state and build professional learning communities where educators can collaborate and participate in online learning opportunities.

Logging on• You should have received an email from Epsilen with your username and password, please contact me if you have not.

• 1. Your website, click on this and you will see what others see.

• 2. Dashboard: Has all your email, calendar, courses, groups etc

• 3. Post it: write status updates or postings, you can choose for everyone in Project Share (Epsilen) or just your district to be able to see and comment on your posting.

ePortfolio• The ePortfolio on Project Share is to be used like a website (much like a facebook page). This can be seen by other teachers, students and administrators with in the Project Share network.

• This allows you to connect to other professionals and students.

• Click on a section on the left-hand dashboard to update the information.

Students and Courses• If you would like your students added to Project Share, please send me an Excel spreadsheet with their names and grade level, and I will add them to the website. • You will need to add courses so that you can place the students in your course. • Fill in course information and save.• The course home screen, will give you information about the types of tools within the course option. • These tools are located on the left side of the screen.
