PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Wirtgen Group is an internationally operating group of companies in the construction machinery sector. Incorporating the brands Wirtgen, Vögele, Hamm and Kleemann, the group counts among the technological leaders in this field. Wirtgen stands for innovative design and precise manufacture of machinery equipment for road construction and road rehabilitation, but also for mining and processing of useful minerals. The machines, some with crawlers, weigh up to 500 tons! An enormous challenge to the architecture of the production facilities, especially with regard to the high mechanical loads to the hall floors. Heavy loads require robust industrial floors. Therefore, for decades already, the Wirtgen Group trusts in the mineral, heavy duty KORODUR hard aggregate industrial floors. As per German standard a KORODUR hard aggregate screed is installed generally in a thickness of 10 to 15 mm, acc. to DIN 18560-7. For crawler type machinery equipment, a screed with metallic hard aggregates acc. to DIN 1100-M provides highest flexural strength and wear resistance. In numerous works of the Wirtgen Group tens of thousands of square meters of KORODUR industrial floors are installed. For decades already these floors have resisted to the extreme load stress of the assembly of gigantic machines. Indeed a powerful reference!
