Fashion’s back at New York City Ballet as the 2014 Fall Gala unites the worlds of fashion and dance for a third consecutive year. The gala program will include world premiere ballets by Justin Peck, who will collaborate with London-based Greek fashion designer Mary Katrantzou; Liam Scarlett, who will work with Sarah Burton, the Creative Director of the Alexander McQueen brand; and Troy Schumacher in collaboration with New York-based designer Thom Browne. The evening will also feature Peter Martins’ work Morgen with all-new costumes by fashion icon Carolina Herrera, as well as Christopher Wheeldon’s This Bitter Earth, which premiered at the 2012 Fall Gala and features costumes by acclaimed couturier Valentino Garavani.
