HOUSTON and LINDON, Utah, Nov. 1, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Cameron (NYSE:CAM)and Profire Energy, Inc. (OTCBB:PFIE) today announced that Cameron will become a non-exclusive authorized distributor of Profire Energy's combustion technologies, which includeburner management systems (BMS) and flare ignition systems (FIS). Cameron, a Fortune 500company that provides flow equipment products, systems and services to worldwide oil, gas andprocess industries, chose to add Profire Energy's technologies to its portfolio of systems afterextensive industry review concluded these technologies could improve safety and efficiency forits customers.

Profire Energy's combustion technologies include:

The PF2100 BMS, a full-capacity burner management system that uses spark and flame-detection technologies to automatically ignite and re-ignite the burner flame. It alsoprovides the ability to manage temperature setpoints and safety shut-downs.The new PF1300 FIS, a flare ignition system for combustors and open-flare applications.While this entry-level system does not manage valves for shutdowns or temperaturecontrol, the PF1300 FIS uses the same spark and flame-detection technology as thePF2100 BMS to detect and relay the status of the pilot flame and automatically reignite thepilot. A patent-pending airplate, which allows the user to adjust air flow through the fire tube.
