• The FITT Principle will help you build/sculpt your best body possible
• FITT stands for Frequency, Intensity, Time, and Type
• Each phase is crucial to help build your body!
FITT - Frequency• Frequency means changing the time of day
and the amount of times your work out per week
• It is recommended to workout 2-5 times a week depending on your exercise tolerance
FITT – Intensity
• Intensity has two workout meanings– The percentage of one rep max you’re lifting• A rep at 70% max is more intense than one at 50%
– How hard a workout is• You can intensify your workout by adding more difficult
exercises or more weight
FITT - Time
• Time can be the length of your workout
• Time also can be section of your workout a muscle is singled out
FITT - Type
• Type refers to different exercise options such as free weights or machines
• Free weights allow more workout freedom for your muscle development
