Preliminary taskProduction process of my

contents page

I used Quark Editor to create the contents page for my school magazine. I have opened a blank document with 3 columns as this is the right format in which I should make my contents page on. I have added text by using the text tool on the left. I have changed the font of the text by selecting the style icon at the top of the page and then selected Font. I have changed the colour of my text by highlighting the text and on the right hand side of the page there is a section which is named ‘colours’, under that I have selected the blue colour. I have moved by text by using the corners to drag it, to the top left in between the first column.

Next I have inserted a image on to my page by selecting the rectangle picture box tool. When I selected the image I wanted to use I clicked Scale picture, in order to make the image fit in to the box. I then used the item tool to move the image to were I wanted it to be on the page.Rectangle

I have then moved my image to were I wanted it to be on the page4

I have now done the same thing and added two more images on to my page

I have added text by selecting the rectangle text box tool and changed the colours by highlighting the text and going to the right hand side of the page to the colours section.

I have now moved the text and images around the page in order for my contents page to follow my plan and sketch. I also added a black line on to the page by selecting the line tool and stretching it to go from the top of the page to the bottom to separate the text from the images. I have used the rectangle picture box tool to add another image on to my page
