GOAT FARMCAYMAN BRAC
Perched atop the Bluff on the eastern edge of the Sister Islands, the Cayman Brac goat farm, a fledgling agriculturebusiness that had been stalled in an embryonic phase for several years, is beginning to attract attention. Canadianfarm manager, Brian Payne believes the farm can expand to include a dairy that produces goat cheese and developinto a viable agri-tourism business on the Brac. Mr. Payne arrived with 300 of his own goats and predicts that theherd will swell to around 700 in a few months.

SURFING IN GRAND CAYMAN
Although not a big wave destination, it is possible to find some decent surf on Cayman. Through the winter monthsfrom December to March, when the northwesters blow through. Some good swells are generated off Seven MileBeach, making it a surfer’s paradise. The area in front of the Caribbean Club hotel and LUCA restaurant are ideal forbeginners during these months, with a safe sandy bottom and easy access to/from the sea. From June to November,the best surf is usually found at the South Sound Community Centre and Mariners Cove in Spotts. However, beginnerswould be well advised to avoid these locations as the coral and sea urchins on the bottom can prove hazardous to less-skilled surfers. – Cayman Resident.

CAYMAN ISLANDS MARATHON
Sure, you could run just about anywhere in the world! But wouldn’t you prefer to runon a safe, beautiful Caribbean island, surrounded by tropical flora and fauna,charming homes flawlessly landscaped and magnificent views of the sea? Well, comerun in the Intertrust Cayman Islands Marathon! The event consists of a full marathon,half marathon, 4-person relay and a Kids Fun Run. Registration is now open. LateRegistration opens on Saturday, December 2 2017 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm (no raceday registration)

TOURISM SPEAK OFF
The 2017 Tourism Speak Off will be held on 2nd November.
The winner of the speak off will earn the title of TourismAmbassador for one year. Additionally, they will have opportunitiesto represent the Cayman Islands at the CTO’s 2018 Youth Congressand at other local events.
FCCA DISNEY GIFT GIVE AWAY
