modest surroundings in Zuffenhausen. From those humble beginnings, the factory

has evolved into one of the most advanced production facilities in the world.

conserve natural resources and

Each new model is built from

modular components –

enabling easy dismantling –

and easily recyclable materials.

To facilitate recycling, all

materials are clearly labelled

for subsequent identification

and sorting. Other

improvements include a

reduction in the range of

plastics used. Priority is given

to recycled plastics wherever

they meet our exacting

technical requirements.

To make the most of these

measures, we have also

improved the recycling process

itself. In the unlikely event that

dismantling is required, only

certified partners are permitted

to carry out this work, thereby

ensuring the safe disposal of

fluids and pollutants.

Porsche recycling

Guidelines are provided to ensure

proper dismantling and draining

of fluids in compliance with

the EU directive on end-of-life

vehicles. For Porsche, the scope

of vehicle recycling has long

exceeded metals alone. Plastics,

lubricants and other fluids are

increasingly salvageable too.

Thanks to fill-for-life fluids and

longer service intervals, this

comprehensive strategy has

an equally positive impact on

the overall cost of ownership.
