With the release of the Summit Rear Step Towbar (RSTB) the full ARB Summit range of protection equipment is now available to suit the 2015on Toyota Hilux wide body. This RSTB has been designed for thedual cab 4x4 and Hi Rider 2x4 wide body models. A separate narrow body model is being developed.

The Summit RSTB has been designed to offer a number of key design elements including four hi lift jack points, press formed steel wings and recessed mounting for trailer wiring plugs, reverse cameras, Anderson plugs and ARB air compressor outlet.

Toprovideadditionalstrengthandbracinga70mmaccessholesisrequiredinthelowersectionofthevehicletub.Supportbracketsthenmountsecurelytoanutplateinsertedintothevehiclechassis.

ThesupportbracketislocatedbelowfloorlevelofthetubsoOutbackSolutionRollerDrawers or storage units do not need to be removedforSummitRSTBfitment.

TheSummitRSTBhasbeendesignedwiththreedifferentpowdercoatfinishes.Onlythepressformedwingsandbeaverpanelshavebeen designed to be colour coded. Natural finishisasatinblackpowdercoat.

Hi-Lift Jack Points:

A50mmhitchissuppliedstandardwiththeARBSummitRSTBfortheHilux.Thetwohitchincludesgussetstomaintainthe3.5tratingoftheRearStepinlinewiththevehiclestowrating(subjecttovehiclespecifications).

Towchainfixturepointsarelocateddirectlybelowthe50mmhitchreceiver.

ThelocationofthetowhitchpinhasbeenpositionedtoallowfitmentoftheBushrangerHitch(part#58X22/A).

License Plate Holder:

Afolddownlicenseplateholderissuppliedtoallowaccesstotheoriginalequipmentsparewheelmechanism.Toalleviateissueswiththelicenceplatefoldingdownwhenthevehicleismovinga10mmspannerisincludedtoenableapinningbolttoberemovedfromthelicenceplatebracket.
