About Your Skin
The Dermaviduals range focuses on the health of the skin; specifically the Stratum Corneum, the outermost
layers of the epidermis. Thought, until recently to be largely irrelevant, and comprised of dead and dying
cells, recent research has revealed the vital role played by this layer. A healthy Stratum Corneum maintains
optimum water balance in the skin. If this vital defence is compromised by inappropriate skincare it leads
to water loss, resulting in a multitude of issues including dryness, flakiness, redness and even excess oil as
the skin struggles to maintain its equilibrium.
About Us
The Dermaviduals range is formulated by Dr Hans Lautenschlager, an expert in corneotherapy, the
physiological criteria to maintain a healthy skin. Knowing that imperfections on the skins surface are an
outward indication of disruption in the delicate and complex balance of the skin, he has created a range of
products specifically designed to address the root cause of these problems.
Dermaviduals products contain Derma Membrane Structure (DMS), an advanced and unique chemical

Cleansing Milk
The cleanser suitable for all skins, this milk will gently lift away all grease, grime, pollution and make
up.
How best to use:
1st Cleanse: Apply a 5p-10p sized blob onto dry hands and massage lightly onto the skin. Rinse off
by splashing with water.
2nd Cleanse: Apply the same amount of milk, but massage it into the skin a little
more firmly. Wipe the face gently with the Dermaviduals face cloth until the cloth
comes away clean.
Follow with corrective lotion .
Cleansers The correct cleanser is the foundation of an effective skincare regime. The advent of facial wipes in a world where we
are all short of time has resulted in speedy but inadequate cleansing, leading to a steady build-up of impurities on the
skin. The misconception of vigorous, deep cleansing of the skin is not beneficial and ultimately damages the Stratum
Corneum, upsetting the moisture balance of the skin.
Within the dermaviduals range we have Two Cleansers a Cleansing Milk or A Cleansing Gel.
Do not underestimate the importance of the correct cleanser .

Cleansing Gel
Suitable for male skin, teenage boys and a oily prone skin this vegetable-based cleanser will remove
impurities without upsetting the natural oils in the skin.
How best to use:
1st Cleanse: Apply a 5p-10p blob to slightly damp hands and massage gently on to the skin. The cleansing
gel will remove grime and pollutants. Rinse with a splash of water.
2nd Cleanse: Repeat the 1st cleanse but after rinsing, wipe the skin with a dampened Dermaviduals skin cloth
until it comes clean.
Cleansing Gel Dermaviduals cleansers effectively remove dirt and impurities without compromising the lipid structure of the
epidermis; leaving the skin clean, calm and receptive to following treatments
An over washed skin will lead to an upset skin.

Corrective Lotions
Soothing Lotion
One of our most popular products, this versatile lotion effectively treats a number of skin issues.
It can be used as a gentle cleanser on young teenage skins, or as a toner for problem skin: Sprayed
onto damp cotton wool the process should be repeated twice.
This lotion will soothe and calm red and inflamed skin. After cleansing with Cleansing Milk, spray the
Soothing Lotion on damp cotton wool and wipe the skin twice before applying the
appropriate cream.
The Soothing Lotion also supports the prevention of psoriasis. A small amount should
be sprayed onto the affected area 3-4 times daily.
The Soothing Lotion comes in a handy 30ml size as well as the standard 150ml size. This
can be popped in a bag and taken on flights. Spray directly onto a damp cotton wool to
prevent the skin from drying out. It can be applied as often as necessary.
Our corrective lotions are a more than the old fashion toner. These lotions are specially designed to treat
inflammatory skin conditions, which are the cause of Acne, Spots, Rosacea and Mild irritations of the skin .

Corrective Lotions
Moisturising Toner
This special product soothes, calms and takes down the inflammation Rosacea, Sensitive
and Reactive skins. It hydrates and refreshes the skin.
How best to use:
After cleansing, spray liberally onto the skin and massage in circular motions.
Moisturising Toner can be used as often as you feel your skin needs. Its
refreshing and moisturising properties can be particularly beneficial after
sun exposure; simply spritz directly onto clean skin.

Desquamation
The natural process of skin renewal. The top layer of skin will shed as new cells differentiate up. In the past, scrubs and
peeling products have been used unsuccessfully to speed up this process. But these overly harsh methods serve only to
upset the natural oils in the skin. To address this problem, Dermaviduals created ‘Enzyme Skin Renewal’. It aids in the
natural desquamation process of your skin by gently slough off dead cells as Mother Nature intended.
How best to use:
Tip a tea spoon of the sachet in to an egg cup and mix with water in to a paste. Apply to the
skin and massage gently. This treatment can be left on for up to 10-20 minutes, or until hard.
Rinse off thoroughly with cold water.
For normal skin types, use once a week. For problem and spotty skin use 2-3 times a week .

Treatment Gel
This problem-solver was created specifically for congested, uneven skin. Containing Acetoside and Berberin, which
give it its anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties, this gel will loosen blocked pores, soothe and reduce lumps
and bumps.
How best to use:
Massage a small amount of Treatment Gel gently into the affected area once a day. Follow with Dermaviduals
Hydrating Lotion or High Classic. It is vital to moisturise problem areas, as a lack of good oils in the skin will simply
cause more problems.
Desquamation.
Most lumps, bumps, spots, black heads and white heads are caused by too much dead skin (excess keratinisation)
In modern day skin care we do not squeeze, pick or over clean the skin, the skin does not really appreciate that .
Instead we slough off and unplug the dead skin and slowly re educate the skin to work as mother nature intended .

Classic Creams free of emulsifiers
Conventional creams contain emulsifiers that can disturb the integrity of the natural skin leading to an increased loss
of water within the skin. Emulsifier-free creams prevent the loss of natural barrier substances and thus avoid dry skin.
DMS Derma Membrane Structure DMS creams are chemically and physically similar to the membrane structure of
the natural skin barrier.

Self-Tan
Suitable for use on face and body, Dermaviduals self-tan gives a
beautiful sun kissed glow without skin damage. This hydrating self-
tan treatment will not dry the skin or cause blackheads.
How best to use:
Cleanse and moisturise the skin before application in

Tenfione®-semisomal bath contains natural oils (olive oil, avocado oil) and vitamin E which spontaneously turn into a mixture
of nanoparticles and liposomes (semisomes). Due to this the oil will hold on to the skin so will leave a velvety feeling after
the bath.Add (10–20 ml) is carefully dripped in together with the filling in warm bath water. By stirring the water a transparent
milky fluid is obtained. Bathing time should be about 20 minutes After the bath, avoid rinsing the skin with water and only
slightly pad the skin dry with a towel. tenfione®-semisomal bath is suggested to be applied in the evenings before bedtime.
Alternative: The product can also be applied as a shower product by gently spreading it directly onto the moist skin. The skin

Alga Mask Active agents from alga in a mineral matrix, which forms a flexible film with water Hydrating and smoothing mask with actives of alga spirulina maxima.
• To use on: Sensitive reactive redden skins.
• Actions : Calm, sooth, hydrate and brighten the skin
The whole sachet of mask powder is mixed with water to make a paste and applied to
the skin. The mask solidifies after a short while and can be removed after 20 minutes as
a flexible film.
Active agent concentrates and base creams are applied underneath the mask.
Tera Sana Terra sana is a specifically pure and natural clay consisting of the alumosilicates kaolin and monmorillonite (clay
minerals) as well as portions of quartz, mica, limonite (ferromineral) and further minerals.
The clay powder is mixed with water and stirred until creamy, then apply to
the skin. The mixture is usually left on the skin for 20 minutes.

Base modelage/Alginate Mineral base for facial and body packs. The Base modelage is suitable for face skin, as well as for other body parts.
Composition : Mineral pack containing algin for facial and body
applications.
Properties: Unlike the alga based mask which appears green due to its
spirulina content, the white base modelage only includes the algae
component algin, a polysaccharide which causes the gel-like consistency of
the base modelage. The base modelage can be applied just like the alga
based mask. In dry condition the modelage may be enriched with
powdered agents like e.g. pomegranate in order to achieve supplementary
effects. The base modelage may be applied on the facial skin as well as
other body parts. It
• increases the skin hydration
• improves the penetration of active agents
• tightens the skin
• has oil absorbing effects and is the ideal mask for customers who
object hot modeling masks.
Underneath the mask, active agents and base creams can be applied.
Application: The base modelage is mixed with cold water in a 1:1
ratio, i.e. 1 level measuring spoon base modelage powder with 1 level
measuring spoon water = 50 ml. The modelage is applied generously
on the skin. One measuring spoon base modelage will cover an area of
about twice the size of a hand. The modelage will harden out after a
little while and after about 20 minutes it may be removed completely
in form of a flexible film without leaving any sticky residues on the
skin. One application requires about 15 to 60 gram mask powder as
follows
hand/facial pack: 15 g with 50 ml of lukewarm water
face-neck-neckline: 30 g with 100 g of lukewarm water

Ultra Sound Gel /Base Gel The gel shows excellent lubricating properties and contains moisturizing agents and
filming substances both causing a slight reduction of the transepidermal water loss.
Properties The product is used to aid in conduction for ultra sound and microcurrent.
It can be used as a glide for needling treatments.
You can mix the gel with some actives to add in better absorption
The gel as such increases the skin hydration during the treatment and apart from any
excess amount it is not necessary to remove or wash off the gel.
