Over the last two years, 6.9% (1,715,769) of adult Canadians went cross-country skiing or snowshoeing while on an out-of town, overnight trip of one or more nights.

Of those who went cross-country skiing or snowshoeing, 35.3% (605,715) reported that this activity was the main reason for taking at least one trip in the past two years
