OVERVIEW * Motion Amplification (MA) is a video-processing technique that detects subtle motion and increases that motion to a level visible to the naked eye. Videos created through Motion Amplification enhance the understanding of the components and interrelationships creating the motion. Every pixel in the camera becomes a sensor, creating millions of data points in an instant, all in phase with one another. A series of case studies will be examined focusing on structural components. Often structural components are the root cause of failure with machinery but are hard to diagnose or detect. Traditional vibration can often overlook these faults. We will examine how Motion Amplification lends itself to easily identify and diagnose structural issues common to motors and pumps.
About RDI Technologies For the first time ever, RDI
Technologies enables you to quickly and easily see and analyze what is invisible to the naked eye and move to root-cause problem-solving. RDI’s comprehensive industrial solution is driven by proprietary software that turns millions of pixels in today’s modern cameras into millions of individual data points that can be monitored, read and analyzed. DI’s revolutionary IRIS M™ product is changing the way companies monitor the condition of billions of dollars’ worth of plant machinery and manufacturing equipment.

OVERVIEW
The Drive Belts presentation will introduce all drive belt
styles and application. We will focus on V Belt designs,
understand selection/ application while covering
preventative and predictive maintenance practices.
From the past to the newest developments in V Belt
technology.
Russ Chapman, a graduate of Texas
A&M University, has dedicated his 40
year career to the application, selection
and installation/maintenance of
mechanical power transmission
equipment.
